The Team:
Daniel, Owner and Founder
While attending Chapman University (GO PANTHERS) and pursuing a Biochemistry and Molecular Biology degree, Daniel found his knack for tutoring. He's always been able to ace a multiple choice test like nobody's business, so naturally he fell into test prep tutoring at several big name companies. After a several years of working up to the top of these companies, however, he began discovering new and innovative ways to pass on his test-taking skills to his students. In 2014 he ventured out on his own as Howard Test Prep. Since then, he's helped hundreds of students master the ACT with his unique "training" (not "tutoring") approach for the ACT. The results speak for themselves! In August 2017, Daniel moved to Boston, MA to pursue a master's degree at the Boston University School of Medicine and is now applying to medical school. As passionate as he is about test prep, he still hopes to one day don the white coat and help people in a different capacity. Currently, he is back in Orange County for the next year overseeing all of Howard Test Prep's students and working with a handful of students himself.

Richard, Outreach Director
If you thought you saw some resemblance with our owner, you'd be right! Howard Test Prep is a family affair, and Richard is Daniel's younger (but better looking) brother. He graduated from CSU Long Beach, obtaining a degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sport Psychology and Leadership. With our unique approach to test prep, Richard's athletic background and education makes him the PERFECT trainer for our students. He knows exactly how to get his students in the right mindset to perform at the top of their game. He also manages the day to day operations of Howard Test Prep along with our community outreach, so you will likely hear from him!

Max, Expert ACT/SAT Trainer
When he's not traveling the world, speaking one of his four fluent languages, or teaching Yoga, Max loves training high school students on the ins and outs of the ACT. He also is our in-house SAT specialist. Currently pursuing a degree in Linguistics, Max has a gift in communicating difficult concepts to students in more ways that you could imagine. If you need a guide for the ACT (or pretty much any other subject), Max is your guy!
